Julian is currently inpatient at Riley Childrenβs Hospital fighting an infection, awaiting his 5th bone marrow biopsy. He has had countless transfusions, pokes and pricks throughout the last several years with his journey with IPP. Heβs undergone more than most adults would in a ππΎπ»πππΎππ! After finally getting a diagnosis of MDS after years of searching for answers, this family is happy to have a plan. He continues to battle severely low platelets and white cells andΒ the timeline of his transplant is complex while awaiting a match! Heβs undergoing so many tests and has had countless hospital stays. Heβs never let this battle steal his joy, and has no plans to!Β Β Every battle that heβs endured thus far, heβs remained positive and has always had a smile on his face!
Julian has a been active in his church activities, Taekwondo, band, and is an avid learner. He will be home boundβuntil after he receives his transplant and makes a full recovery.
